The VGG Memorial Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for children with special health needs. The fund was inspired by the life of Vanessa Grace Garr, who lived her two years on earth with severe disabilities due to a brain injury at birth. Nessa brought much joy to all who knew her, and our memories of her serve as a beautiful reminder to cherish every moment of life for the gift that it is (learn more about Vanessa here).
During our time with her, we realized that there are many children with similar conditions whose families struggle with the high cost of medical care, equipment, therapies, etc. Unfortunately, healthcare insurance and government funded programs are not always enough to adequately meet these needs. This is why we choose to help.
